The Sounds scored nine unanswered runs in an epic 10-8 comeback win. Biloxi smacked four homers in a comfortable victory. Wisconsin gave up two late leads in a tough defeat. The Mudcats were hit hard in a lopsided loss.

It's not just the big-league Brewers who are stumbling towards the break associated with the mid-summer classic. After Sunday's action, all four full-season affiliates will be off until Friday the 22nd. The Arizona Complex League is now off until Thursday the 21st. Only the Dominican Summer League games maintain a normal schedule this week, with games set for this Monday.

Not only that, but you'll notice there's been no buzz around any league All-Star games. Apparently, the powers around MiLB saw more benefit on having a full player time-off reset - so for instance, no Southern, Midwest or Carolina League All-Star Games this year. It would have been tough to coordinate with so many of the best prospects already in action for the Futures Game this weekend.

The Sounds walk off the rival Redbirds. The Shuckers earn a much-needed victory. Is that enough to clear the images of Josh Hader's very unfortunate Friday night in San Francisco from your memory? For most folks reading, obviously no. But hopefully you find enough positives within our report to find a distracting respite. 

Currently ranked as the 13th best prospect in the Brewers’ organization by Brewer's Fanatic, it is safe to say that Mario Feliciano deserves a real shot at playing in the big leagues. Finding how is the problem.

The Mudcats scored two in the 9th to walk it off. Wisconsin battled back thrice but lost in extra innings. Biloxi collected 10 hits, but lacked clutch ones in another loss. Nashville gave up 20+ hits in a forgettable defeat.

With matinee games to get things going and Biloxi going for a 1 1/2 game affair, we had a full day of activity even though the DSL and ACL Brewers had days off. Stiven Cruz and Jeison Pena flexed their collective pitching muscles in Zebulon, the Biloxi bullpen...um...we'll get to that, Israel Puello continued his High-A dominance, and the Sounds lost another nail biter one-run affair. Carolina and Nashville returned to their home ballparks while Wisconsin and Biloxi continued road trips at West Michigan and Tennessee, respectively. The DSL Brewers 1 and 2 faced off in a heated contest - friends and teammates bringing out the best in each other. Meanwhile in the ACL, the Brewers Gold faced the ACL Cubs while the ACL Brewers Blue battled the formidable 17-9 ACL Guardians. Let's get into the report!

Late leads were given up by Carolina (5-3 loss), Biloxi (7-6 loss in continuation of Saturday’s game) and Nashville (5-3 loss), while Wisconsin was one-hit in its series finale and the Shuckers couldn’t come back from an early deficit in their Sunday contest.

The Sounds grabbed an early lead to extend the winning streak to six games. Four Biloxi hurlers combined on a 2-0 shutout. Wisconsin gave up a grand slam to end a tough loss. Jackson Chourio’s homer wasn’t enough in the Mudcats’ loss. Outfielder Garrett Mitchell started his rehab with BRB Blue.

On Thursday morning, MLB announced the participants in the upcoming Futures Game. Two Milwaukee Brewers prospects will participate, LHP Antoine Kelly, Jr., and outfielder Jackson Chourio.
