Ethan Small, the Brewers top pitching prospect, made his Major League debut on Monday. As quickly as he arrived, he was gone. The arrival of a top prospect is huge, not only for the team but for the fans.

There's a long way to go in the 2022 season, but the Milwaukee Brewers' Corbin Burnes is again on a Cy Young track. As is often the case with greatness, it feels like fans are taking him for granted. I implore you to admire and cherish each of his starts.

On Monday the Milwaukee Brewers selected Ethan Small, a top pitching prospect, to make his Major League debut. The hope is that he would’ve filled in for the recently injured Freddy Peralta or Brandon Woodruff. Instead, he was shaky and optioned after his start, in favor of right-handed pitcher Luke Barker.

The hits just keep coming for the Milwaukee Brewers pitching staff. Just days after losing Freddy Peralta for a considerable amount of time, Brandon Woodruff winds up on the injured list due to a right ankle sprain.

After taking two out of three in San Diego to start their eleven game road trip, the Brewers stop into St. Louis to battle the second place Cardinals in a four game set. The Brewers come into the series with a 3 1/2 game lead, so this could prove to be a crucial early-season test for the Crew. 

Just a few days ago the Milwaukee Brewers were dealt a significant blow to their starting rotation when right-hander Freddy Peralta was placed on the injured list with what is expected to be a long-term issue. Today, news broke that the club is making a significant response in promoting left-hander Ethan Small, presumably to make his debut on Monday.

After taking care of the St. Louis Cardinals in a white-knuckler on Thursday night, the Milwaukee Brewers led the National League in home runs. As of Saturday morning, they continue to. That is not a misprint.

The Milwaukee Brewers were dealt a significant blow recently when starting pitcher Freddy Peralta was placed on the injured list with what's feared to be a long term injury. Prior to today's contest they got a bit of good news with star closer Josh Hader being activated to the 26-man roster.

The draft will take place just over 50 days from now. Unlike most other drafts, seven-plus weeks is just too far away to forecast with any certainty how the draft is going to go.
