Looking at the Brewers' pitching, it is safe to say that they have been doing a great job overall. However, one thing that the BCCC Crew have noticed is that they do have a bit of an issue with giving up a big inning. Furthermore, with the likelyhood of Freddy Peralta getting put on the IL for a bit, how does this impact 1) the 6-man starting rotation that the Brewers utilized and 2) the opportunity it opens up for bringing up young arms from the farm system. Come join for the Brew City Couch Committee's Week 6 “Quick Hit” episode where they look to discuss these topics.

The Brewers strangely have a ton of 40-man space right but it's always hard to add someone before it's necessary, which is what they'd need to do with Small. If his walk rate was lower, maybe this would be a no-brainer decision to add him.

I could see this going either way and see legitimacy in both courses of action.
