Hunter Renfroe struck out five times and walked once over 13 at-bats this weekend, but made a big bang regardless with three long dongs.

In 1976, 23-year old Bill Travers broke out with the Brewers with a 2.81 ERA over 240 innings (including 15 complete games) and an All-Star Game appearance. It made Travers one of the first successful home grown pitchers for the young Brewers organization.

The starting rotation has been one of the biggest strengths of the Brewers since the 2020 season. That looks to be the case again in 2023; let's look at the options available to the team.

Having won just three of their past fifteen games, the Brewers rode into Cincinnati needing a big boost in momentum. Dropping as much as 2 1/2 games behind the Cardinals in the NL Central, the Crew looks to make up some ground in the two-team race for the division crown. 

Last year, no team dominated the top of the strike zone with its fastballs better than the Brewers. With Josh Hader’s overpowering high heat gone, though, can they sustain that?

It's late June and there is a tie at the top of the division. Each game between these two teams is crucial and now, we have four in a row at home. Let's get to it.

In Milwaukee Brewer history, only five players have played for at least ten seasons and spent their entire career with the franchise. This includes Robin Yount, Ryan Braun, Jim Gantner, and Jerry Augustine. The fifth is starting pitcher Bill Wegman.

To close out our weeklong series highlighting the battles for roster spots and key roles on the Milwaukee Brewers during spring training, let’s turn our attention to the bullpen. There are probably two open spots available there, and three pitchers who will vie for the gigs.

Though I enjoy analyzing and breaking down the Milwaukee Brewers, I'm still a fan. The Brewers appeared in their lone World Series the year I was born, so I'm in that middle ground of experience with this franchise where many younger fans and plenty of older fans exist and might see the club differently. This is my take as a baseball-obsessed fan.

As Spring Training begins, remaining free agents get antsy and start taking offers at which they would have balked in December. The Milwaukee Brewers benefited from that, as they signed big, right-handed hitting Luke Voit to a minor-league contract. It could be a huge deal for both sides if things break right. 

With less than a month left in the 2022 season, the Brewers find themselves outside of a playoff spot. With time dwindling, here are five ways the Brewers can find themselves playing in October for the 5th straight year.
