Over the weekend, there were some minor transactions made by the Brewers. Let’s get caught up on them. 

Prior to Wednesday’s game the Milwaukee Brewers made a handful of pitching moves. Jake Cousins was activated from the 60-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A Nashville. Trevor Kelley joined him there, and J.C. Mejia cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A. Taking a spot on the active roster, Adrian Houser was activated from the injured list.

The Brewers headed to Florida for a short two-game series against the tough Tampa Bay Rays. Brandon Woodruff returned to boost the Brewers rotation, and Kolten Wong also returned from the IL after a three week stint to help the Crew take on the Rays. 

Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of Rowdy Tellez joining the Brewers. He's been solid. Now it's time to capitalize on the reputation he's built in Milwaukee to net a bona fide first baseman to win in 2022.
