Over their half-century existence, the Milwaukee Brewers have been known primarily as an offensive-first ball club. But the franchise has had some outstanding pitchers over the years. Let's look at the five best.

Bonnie Tyler said it best. “Where have all the good men gone and where are all the Gods? Where’s the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds?” The 1990 Brewers were holding out for a hero. Luckily for them, they found one in Ron Robinson. 

The Brewers found a gem in the 22nd round that helped the team when he was on it, and also helped the team when he was traded. But they also were unable to sign some players who ended up on rival teams. 

The Brewers came back to American Family Field for the home opening series of 2022, taking on the rival St. Louis Cardinals.  The entire rotation looks to get on track after a rough go-around the first time through, and the offense is looking to find a rhythm as the squad comes into the series with a record of 3-3.

The Milwaukee Brewers made a couple of procedural moves prior to action on Friday night. Former 5th overall pick from the 2016 draft, Corey Ray, was outrighted to Triple-A Nashville. Pitcher Jandel Gustave and catcher Pedro Severino also began rehab assignments with the Sounds.
