Look at the way sheets runs. I always thought he had one of the strangest running motions that I have ever seen. His palms always seem to be facing the ground as he's running. It's like he's constantly preparing to brace himself in case he falls as he's running.

Bush always sports the highsocks, although that guys seems to be taller than Bush. I'd say it's Riske also. And Sheets..... wow, he looks a little fruity in that jogging picture, I'm sorry I had to be the one to say it.

I hate to belabor the point, but Sheets always runs like that. I still remember the first time I ever saw him run to first. I thought OMG, whats wrong with him? That can't possibly be the way he really runs..is he trying to be funny? Since then, I have always been so amused at the way he runs.

It's as if when he was a kid he had to be taught how to run because he didn't get it and he still struggles with it to this day. I have honestly never seen a non-disabled person seem to put so much effort and thought into the natural act of running. He doesn't know what to do with his arms and hands when he runs. Most people pump there arms when they run. It's more of a swatting motion with him, like he's trying to swat flies in front of him. Ever see someone run that starts tripping as they run and for the last 10 or 20 yards they just struggle to stay on their feet as all there body weight is carrying them towards the ground? That's the way Sheets runs all the time.

Can you tell I'm a little obsessed with this?

Why is it that whenever I see a pic of Weeks fielding a grounder, he's got his body nowhere near being behind the ball? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

Another name for consideration on the high socks - Zach Jackson, maybe? That's who I thought it was.

Yeah TLB, I've noticed that too. He looks like a little leaguer fielding in all the pics from this Spring. It's something he should definitely work on.
