is the only difference between the replica and authentic jersey is that the authentic has the fight strap, and the replica doesn't?

What about the letters/numbers? Are they ironed or stitched on?

 

I have quite a few authentics, love the fight strap!

well every jersey that i have looked at say that they are replicas but all of the stuff is sewed on?

i have some replicas with numbers sewn on. they are a few years old, so i dont know if that is still the case

The authentics like you said have the fight strap, and are made of better thicker/heavier material.

 

Many of the nice replicas will use the twill (sewn on lettering)

First off its a sweater not a jersey..lol just having alittle fun. I worked at a sports clothing store many moons ago and had 3 authentic sweaters; Mark Messier Rangers, Blank white Buffalo Sabres(previous logo) and a USA from the 96'? Olympics. Beyond the strap the biggest indicator is the weight. Authentic sweaters are going to be heavier material then the replica ones. Now i have no idea about the new Reebok ones, that you are on your own.

i got it, it fits pretty well the sleeves are kind of long, but everything is sewn, there's the strap, and it is heavy everywhere but the sleeves.
