Brewerfan t-shirt contest - Voting Time

Alright, the submissions are in. I've taken the five best designs based on the feedback and comments from the other thread. Please chime in on this thread as to which design you like the best. Please do so by the end of day on Friday, February 22nd.

 

I also want to point out that the winning submission is subject to being touched up either by myself or another member of the staff, with the permission of the winner of course.

Snows in October

I'm going to give my vote to the snows in October design. It is very clever, and I think it fits perfectly with the other designs that are going to be added to the line this year, and I like that it is specific to the Brewers and playoff baseball and not necessarily related to this site.

yep, me too. I thought it was very clever, although it may need a little bit more. Would the BF.net logo be on the back? or is this design on the back and the BF.net logo is on the left chest?

I guess I am wondering who could "describe" the October one for me, because as far as I can see, it's more of a Miller Park T-shirt, no mention of the site. Also, I would assume MP is part of MLB, which you would need permission to use. Is it a drawing of a similar ballpark?

A drawing would be fine, much like the abstract drawing at the heading of our site. A photo of the actual park would probably not be OK.

I believe that in most cases, a Brewerfan logo will go on the back of the shirt. And as Patrick mentions above, designs might be touched up with the permission of the artist.

That's one of the reasons I'm voting for it. One doesn't have to be a member (or even aware) of this site in order to understand and appreciate what it's saying. I like the fact that it resonates with all fans.

Let's try to keep this thread to submitting your vote for the five finalists. There was plenty of time to ask questions about the individual designs in the previous thread.

 

And as noted in that thread, the Brewerfan.net logo will be added to the t-shirt design at some point in time, either to the front and/or the back of the t-shirt.

I really like the tour idea, but I'm going to vote for snows in October.

"Snows in October" is a great slogan too, but a little cocky for not playing in the postseason since '82. How about once we do make the postseason, release a shirt with that design along with "2008 NL Central Champs".

I realize that it's self-deprecating humor and all, but the 'parents' basement' part of the National Tour shirt earns negative points for me.

If it's legal I'll vote for my own and go with "Snow in October." Plus I'll add that I don't think it's really any more presumptuous than the "Good things come in 25's" shirts that you can still purchase in the store right now.
