I learned this while having the flu

I ate some cereal and it stayed dow. This is day 2 of the flu for me. But on a brighter note:

As I was sitting in my chair coughing out a lung, I peered out the window and there in the tree was a chubby Robin!

Spring, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

If I hadn't gotten the flu, I would have missed the first sign of spring.

I have had this flu for 5 days. Just starting to feel better now. I have coughed so hard that I now have to hold onto my top stomach area being afraid that I am going to get a hernia.

Eyes burn......I found placing a cold towell over my face before I go to bed at least helps getting some sleep.

Hey, no jokes about the herniahttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

I get this flu like sickness every few years it seems. It only lasts about 24 hours. I can tell when it's coming because my body will ache, my burps will reak, and then I'll get the cold sweats. Then for about 24 hours I'm in hell. Can't eat anything or swallow hardly. Usually once I spend a night waking up all sweaty every couple hours and get in at least 1 good vomit session then I'll feel better in the morning.

It has been a while, maybe I'm due. Or maybe my food regulations are just too low and I've been poisoning myself accidentally every couple of years.

Not to laugh at your torment, but the description of regurgitated Honey Nut Cheerios made me laugh. Not sure about the specks....

I was really sick recently for about a week. One of the worst parts is the "fever dreams" or whatever you want to call them. Like my roommate's kid had been playing Mario Kart Double Dash all day and the song was just running through my head all night long.

I know what you mean by fever dreams.

It's been a while since I've had them, but they are weird. Seems they were always followed by waking up and having no idea what day or time it is and then falling right back into the bizarro world of fever dreams.

Yuck! My craziest fever dream was, I was 17 or so. And these ninjas with ninja turtle plastic masks were using aluminum ladders to cross from my neighbors roofs to ours. And they were attaching me with empty liter bottles of pepsi.

I managed to get away in the, apparently industrial sized duct work, but it was odd non-the-less.

Fever dreams are the only ones I remember having.

If I'm not sick, I don't know if I've even had a dream....no recollection at all.

I caught a fever while watching the first Lord of the Rings movie in a theater. Longest movie of my life - much more enjoyable when I saw it on DVD. Anyway, that was probably the worst fever I've had as an adult. To cap it off, I was in Boston for work and was stuck in the hotel all week. I had some crazy LOTR dreams - man those freaked me out.
