Brewers word recognition game...

This may be an unusual game, but it can be fun. I am going to list 10 cars/trucks and think of the first Brewer that comes to mind when seeing the name of the vehicle. It can be based on personality of the player or the wear and tear of the player based on durability.

1. Actually, the first was David Eckstein, so then followed the Brewers ~equivilant statistically (I wasn't around for his tenure), Jim Gantner

2. Geoff Jenkins, not sure why

3. Ben Sheets, my parents Taurus is always having problems

4. Yo Gallardo, maybe because Lumina is a Spanish word?

6. J.J. Hardy

7. Jason Kendall

8. Mike Rivera

9. Eric Gagne

10. Corey Hart/Prince Fielder, depends on the color

 

I guess only current Brewers are on the brain, though not suprising. I don't think the year of the car had any impact.

1. Brian Shouse - Could easily be in the junkyard, or be the everyday work horse (with some care)

2. JJ Hardy - Could be in your future the next ten years, could get traded in and you wouldn't have second thoughts

3. Craig Counsell - You bought it when you started a family and it was decent while it lasted but quickly you've become embarrassed of it.

4. Chris Capuono - You bought it thinking it was a steal, and it probably is but there is always something to complain about with it.

5. Yovanni Gallardo - You don't use this often, but when you do everyones jaw drops.

6. Jeff Suppan - You bought it 17 years ago, and today it hasn't changed, reliable, effective yet unspectacular.

7. Ben Sheets - Flashy but it's a Saturn you have to worry about it breaking down at any time.

8. Corey Hart - A bit flashier, a bit dependable, a bit functional, a bit of everything.

9. Prince Fielder - When your coming everyone see's you and knows your one bad dude.

10. Rickie Weeks - Smaller compact, but has some power. More power than it's tiny frame can handle?

 

Im not much of a car guy so I may have a different image in my head, of the car listed.

If I recall correctly, Brian Shouse's first car was a baby blue AMC Matador. The 2006 Gameday programs used to have player profiles in them and they asked each player about his first ride.
