Nice effort, Joe. Could you tweak the wording to suggest the possibility of more than 81 games?

Legally, one would think the word 'prince' alone would stand a better chance of passing muster than would Prince Fielder.

(Though I wonder if the entertainer Prince would object to your tweaking his unpronounceable symbol.)

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Does this mean the 'Bill Hall wins games' t-shirt cannot be created?

I would prefer to avoid references to the players. Plus, I think I've seen these shirts before, so I would hate to be infringing on someone's elses possible idea and/or design.

I too love the tour shirt idea, and like revengeofSAGET, would probably do so without the obscure logo. A more classically theme baseball shirt with the "National Tour" slogan would be really sharp.

So far, I definitely like the Prince symbol + the National Tour dates. Maybe I'm overly picky, but something about the design as it is seems to clash a bit or something. Maybe the use of realistic images for the glove, bat and the left baseball juxtaposed with the cartoony hot dog. Possibly go one direction or the other? (I'd like the cartoony/simple grapics better.) But the concept is genius, definitely first prize so far.

Anyway, here's what I've got so far, its nothing special. It pales in comparison to the one above:

I'm going to see if I can come up with something better.

Ok, here's a quick update of my Tour Design. I'll try to think of a more general baseball logo I could possibly design, but in the meantime I cleaned up the one I already made a little. as you can see, I changed the color of the "arms" to brewer blue and added the cuff pinstripe that the team's blue jersey's have. I changed the position of the diamond and also changed it to an accurate diagram of Miller Park's dimensions. I made the glove and bat less realistic (though I could maybe mess more with the glove) and added text on the bat (just "Milwaukee Baseball Club", I'm open to changes). Last but not least, I changed the sausage from a hot dog to a Bratwurst.

edit: I should add that I did these designs with a 300 dpi resolution, I just converted them to 72 dpi jpegs so they wouldn't ruin the thread.

I'd just say, the less busy the better.

Well, I didn't think my design was all that busy, but I'm not a professional (obviously). I still plan on making a general baseball one, I just haven't thought of a good design yet and I'm busy for the rest of the week. Maybe sometime on Sunday.

JoeHova, I have to disagree with some others - I think the Symbol/logo is easily recognizeable & really sweet.

Sbryl - I GET it! Hart! PRINCEiple! Those are like player's names!

In all seriousness, it's a sweet design. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

The use of player names should be fine in Sam's example. The focus is on Brewerfan rather than the players. Also, the Brewerfan focus pretty much precludes the concept of someone else already using the idea.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
