Carl Landry - Houston Rockets

It's good to see a great player from Milwaukee doing so well in the NBA. Making the Rockets roster (even playing more then Novak). Landry had 22 points for the Rockets in 20 minutes tonight. A great story and I hope he has a great career. Why couldnt the Bucks have taken a shot with this guy? Oh wait, that would have been a smart move

Landry was drafted 31st overall by Seattle, and then subsequently traded to the Rockets.

He's a guy I really wanted the Bucks to get if he was available when they picked, but apparently other GMs thought as much of him as I did.

 

The bigger question is, what was he doing at Purdue and not Wisconsin or Marquette.

He had to go to a junior college first because of academics and he went to one in Indiana.
