Hey guys, we have a brand new interview with the newest member of the FSN Brewers broadcast team up on our blog: Trenni Kusnierek Interview.

I think she's a great addition to the crew and I'm looking forward to seeing what the new team can do. What does everyone else think?

I went to high school with her and we crossed paths a couple of times. She's down to earth, level headed and I'm 100% positive she'll do a better job than various other females (and guys) who have been broadcast team members in the recent past, regardless of what her role will be.

 

I caught a fair amount of her doing Pittsburgh games last year (she had the Coshun hover 'round the stadium and report on various things role) and I think she'll be able to add substance to the broadcast for a couple of reasons. She's been a fan of the Brewers for years (so she'll be able to apply historical content) and has a solid amount of overall baseball knowledge. It also doesn't hurt that she's spent the last couple of years trying to dig up interesting things to talk about while around a horribly run franchise. If she was able to do that, I don't think she'll have too much of a problem here. I wish her the best of luck... I'm for anyone who can add to the broadcast rather than take things away from it.

Sadly, she came from the same assembly line that gave the world the vanilla Chris McKendry, Dana Jacobsen and Megan Mawicke.

I haven't heard her yet, although I vaguely remember seeing her on a Pirates broadcast when I had the sound muted and was listening to Uecker and Powell instead.

That's a huge improvement in the broadcast right there. FSN is finally doing the right thing with the roving reporter.

I've always known her as Trenni... I'm 95% certain it's not short for anything... That's just her name. She was at least a year behind me in school, and it's not like we went roller skating on Friday nights together or anything. So while I'm pretty sure, I wouldn't be surprised if someone corrected me between now and the all-star break. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
