Whats the best fish to eat?

The two I buy regularly:

 

Orange Ruffy

Salmon

 

I just bought my first tuna steak and wasn't impressed. I don't know if I just overcooked it, or what.

somebody else (logan?) already mentioned it, but shark is fabulous. Very tasty.

Other than being tasty you have to count the "this thing would eat me if given the chance" factor as well. Of course the same could be said about pigs.

I really enjoy catfish.

 

I usually get haddock though, as it's economical.

Ahhh... MSC saves my sanity. I can't believe I'm only the second to mention swordfish. It's perfect for WI, too... it grills soooooo nicely. It's certainly not a 'fishy' fish, though, in terms of flavor or texture. Very pricey, but worth every penny when cooked correctly.

 

The Halibut's popular out here in the NW, too.

The Farmstead in Cedarburg has the BEST tuna steak

Although not technically a fish, if you ever get a chance to try Humpback whale, don't pass it up. It's by far my favorite sea creature to nosh on. Just fry a steak in a pan with butter until medium rare, warmed through the middle. It's also really good with a red wine marinade.
