You can only eat one animal the rest of your life

I would only eat vegetarians.

Probably taste like tofu--no thanks.

I figure all meat I currently eat is from herbivores. Vegetarians should have less fat and therefore healthier.

I would guess humans would be red meat. I have now spent my allotment of twisted thoughts for the year on this thread.

I blame Wang.

To answer the original question, none.

Yeah right Toby, I know you can't resist an organic, shade grown, fair trade, cageless, wheat grass fed, antiobiotic-free, free range Tofurkey. It's the beef jerkey of hipsters.

Given the rule that all varieties of fish count as a single animal, it's an easy choice for this Norske: fish.

Man... I cut open a package of tofu this evening to add it to some stir-fry and boy-oh-boy, did that stuff ever look tasty! The way it slithers out of the package, all protein-y...

As a side note -- Since January 1st, my wife has established a fascist regime of "healthier eating" in our household. I have mocked her, bribed her, carried on, and busted out most my self-preservation arsenal, and still I am looking at low-fat, low-sodium -- and my personal arch enemy "reasonable portions".

So clearly I needed to pursue divorce on the grounds, that my wife has clearly become mentally unstable, and/or possessed by demons. I talked to some of my friends in the attorney industry -- and they indicated that my case was not the slam-dunk case I had hoped it would be -- and at some point during all the legal hoopla, I would probably would get hungry, so I should just deal with it.

So -- this weekend my wife made "turkey steaks" -- I have no idea what turkey steaks are, perhaps there is a super species of 6 foot turkeys, or maybe they grind turkeys into turkey paste and reform it into "steaks" -- in either case it was pretty tasty.

The Soylent Greenesque twist to this story, was when the other day I was eating Turkey burger BBQ, and I told my wife -- "This isn't that bad, I could get used to this", to which my wife replied... (cue moment of revelation music)

"You've been eating Turkey burger since October"

I literally stopped chewing.

Did you have a Bruce Willis-Sixth Sense/Edward Norton-Fight Club type flashback of all the times you've eaten them, coming to the horrifying realization that she's right?

I think I finaly have my wife convinced that turkey is not really a reasonable substitute for beef,

I think I have to choose a pig over a cow. But it's very close.

Ham, Bacon, Pork chops, pork loin, side pork. Yum.

if you are looking for variety, there are 7 different kinds of meat that come from a turtle. One tastes just like chicken. No kidding.
