Convert your friends to Brewerism

I say we start converting undecided, and other fans, into brewer fans. The more we can get, the more people show up the game, the more money the team makes, the more they spend, the more we win!!

I'm not sure how much more fans would help unless they are going to go to middle of the week games. If I recall correctly most fri-sun games are usually sold out. I do agree with converting fans to the Brewers on principal though.

My S.O. grew up watching the Cubs. (He was of prime baseball-interest-development age in the late 60s, when there wasn't a Milwaukee team, and his grandparents always had WGN on.) But I think I've turned him around - that, and the arrogant hordes of cub nation. By last fall he wasn't at all happy to see the cubs advance. So I believe it can be done.

 

Last season I managed to get some of my student employees interested in the Brewers (though those who joined up had housemates who were already following the Brewers, so I don't feel I can take all credit).

All my friends are Brewer fans, just one who isn't a general sports fan doesn't do the baseball thing, nor other games. How many more days till Catchers and Pitchers report?

You're in luck. I run a brainwashing camp. I cleanse the brain of everything having to do with the Cubs in 2 weeks or less, if I fail it's free. Converting into a Brewers fan is an extra $25. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Plus she's already taken a step over the state line because Mark Prior was her favorite player and he's with the Pads now. I told her that she's more than welcome to root for the Padres when they're not playing the Brewers. As long as she's less of a Cubs fan, we're on the right track. The Padres would at least put her out of the division. Phase II will be to have Prior get signed by an AL team next year so she'll be completely out of the NL. I imagine at some point she'll just get exhausted with all of this and fall in love with the Brewers.
