BREWERS ANNOUNCE ENHANCEMENTS TO MILLER PARK EXPERIENCE

Associated Bank Kids Zone, Brewers Team Store and Metavante Club Highlight Changes[/i]

MILWAUKEE- With the start of a new season fast approaching, several construction projects at Miller Park will result in further enhancements to the highly-rated "Fan Experience" for Brewers games in 2008. The primary changes will take place on Miller Park's Field Level concourse and on the Club Level. These upgrades include an Associated Bank Kids Zone, Brewers Team Store and Metavante Club[/i].

"We continually strive to provide Wisconsin fans with the best entertainment experience at Miller Park by making improvements to the ballpark on a regular basis," said Rick Schlesinger, Brewers Executive Vice President - Business Operations. "This year, we are adding another retail store to meet the growing demand for Brewers apparel and merchandise. We are also creating an interactive area for our younger guests in the Associated Bank Kids Zone. In addition, our new partnership with Metavante Corporation has resulted in renovation and rebranding of the Metavante Club (formerly known as the .300 Club). We know that these projects will offer something exciting for Brewers fans of all ages."

One of the additions to Miller Park will greet fans as they enter the ballpark through the Home Plate Gate entrance. The new Brewers Team Store[/i], a 3,100 sq. ft. facility, will provide Brewers fans with another venue inside the ballpark to acquire the team's latest merchandise and memorabilia. This new store will specialize in Brewers authenticated items and game-used products. The Brewers Fan Zone Store in the Hot Corner will remain open during its normal store hours, while the new Home Plate Team Store will be open for business during all Brewers home games. The new store will be surrounded by glass walls and its interior will feature red-stitching in the design of a baseball on the cement flooring.

Along the field level concourse near the right field corner, The Associated Bank Kids Zone[/i] will offer an entertainment zone for families with children. The Associated Bank Kids Zone will be situated in an 8,000 sq. ft. location and will feature numerous free activities including a batting cage, pitching cage, replica Bernie Brewer slide and clubhouse, and an interactive game with replicas of the Klement's Racing Sausages. Youngsters will also have the opportunity to have a photo taken catching a baseball up against a replica outfield wall, and then clock their speed while sprinting from home to first in the "Race to First Base" game.

ADDITIONS TO MILLER PARK IN 2008, continued.

Additionally, there will be photo opportunities for fans to sit in a miniature model of the Brewers home dugout and an oversized baseball glove. Also, fans can create their own baseball card (for a nominal charge fee). Construction in this location is progressing and plans are in place to be completed by Opening Day.

"The Associated Bank Kids Zone, like Miller Park itself, will be a place that families can experience the fun and excitement of baseball," said Lisa Binder, president and chief operating officer of Associated. "We are thrilled to partner with the Brewers in reaching out to young baseball fans and families to help their visit to the park become an even more memorable experience."

In addition, the Brewers and Metavante Corporation have reached an agreement on a multi-year corporate partnership which includes the naming rights to the restaurant formerly known as The .300 Club. The area has been renamed the Metavante Club[/i] and extensive renovations will enhance it as one of the most popular entertainment destinations at Miller Park.

"Operating here for 44 years, Metavante has a strong commitment to the Milwaukee community," said Metavante Corporation President and CEO Frank Martire. "We view Miller Park as a showcase of the community where we can entertain our clients and our employees. Becoming a sponsor of the Metavante Club with the Brewers was a natural fit for us, particularly as we are gaining greater visibility as an independent public company."

Metavante Club will be a membership-only restaurant and bar seating up to 300 people. It will feature a sports lounge, tiered dining, and a casual patio with pre-game and game time seating availabilities. Located adjacent to the Gehl Club on Miller Park's Club Level, the Metavante Club will be open to members and their guests during Brewers home games and will also be available to the public for private functions on non-game days throughout the year.

Fans purchasing a minimum of two full season seat plans in most locations receive membership to the Metavante Club as an included benefit, while other fans may join for a seasonal fee. For more information, fans should contact the Brewers Sales Department at (414) 902-4100. To learn about additional information for non-game day functions, please contact Brewers Enterprises at (414) 902-4452.

These changes and many more await fans as they prepare to join in the Miller Park excitement in 2008.

Yes, more things to distract me while I sit in RF and actually try to watch the baseball game. I remember going to County Stadium all the time as a kid, and I don't ever remember needing or using a special zone to do things in.

Thinking about it, does anyone else think it's a bad idea to put the kids zone right next to the drunks in the bleachers?

EA Sports...It's in the game...until we arbitrarily decide to shut off the server.

Put me in the camp that finds this stuff annoying. On quieter days the video games are audible from the RF bleachers during the game!

The 'bleachers' family section is more to the left, in 238.

I can't wait for the ultimate enhancement. The one where people show up to Miller Park in October and lo and behold there's a baseball game going on.

I may have to edit my signature to include this. Kudos (not Yuku kudos, just ordinary kudos) to gypcasino.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

hey county stadium had that "arcade" in left field. Personally in my younger days i too cared more about watching what was going on in the field than playing mlb 2k on playstation.

Even though I'm 30, I feel like an old geezer..."when I was a kid....." But seriously, when we went as a family, I LOVED watched the game and all of the details. That is what made me fall in love with the game of baseball. The strategy, the deception. I was never bored, even when the Brewers were getting trashed, which is what pretty much happened every time we went. I didn't need video games or anything to entertain me.

The new stuff looks nice, but when are they going to bring back the mug?

Ugh...why? There's already enough stuff in the outfield area as is, without a gaudy looking yellow mug with another advertiser's name out there. I really don't get the fascination with that thing.
