Thanks molitor fan. I'm making that site a favorite. I noticed on that site that Jose Capellan has made 5 starts in the Dominican with an upper 2's ERA. I'd like to see if the powers that be at brewerfan.net could ask Brewer management for their take on him starting over the winter as opposed to being a bullpen guy.

 

My opinion is that it can't hurt if he utilizes the time to try to develop a consistent 3rd pitch. Heck, I'd be happ with a consistent 1st or 2nd really. Perhaps I'm asking for too much on both counts, but I wanted to put that out there. It is my hope that Jose seizes the setup job this year and progresses to closer in waiting status. Again, I may be asking for too much. Oh well, 'tis the season for wish lists.

In fact, looking over there today that Jose Capellan threw 6 innings of no-hit ball in the Dominican Winter league.
