Zumwalt and Sarfate

I was looking on minorleaguebaseball.com and it says Sarfate is in Hermosillo playing winter ball. Isn't that a lot of innings for Sarfate already. I also saw that Zumwalt is in Venezuela. Those guys have had a long year. What the reasoning for them to go to winter ball after the AFL?

They both need more work on their consistency is the only reason I can suggest, and who knows what they get paid, but that could be insentive too.
