The Slits - Cut

Siouxsie & The Banshees - The Scream

Skids - Scared To Dance

Stiff Little Fingers - Suspect Device

Here's a punk playlist that I made that I'm listening to now. Mostly "new punk" and kind of heavy on covers. If anybody has any suggestions of current punk to listen to I'd appreciate it. I haven't been keeping up and I'm kind of stuck in the late 90s/early 00s here.

Massive Attack: "Mezzanine"

This album owns me. One of the top 5-10 albums of all time, IMO. It's presently in my top 3 behind Wilco's "Being There" and Elliott Smith's "XO." This album isn't as liked by critics as Protection, or especially Blue Lines, but it's my favorite. Black Milk is better than the House-ified Teardrop and Dissolved Girl is the most underrated song ever produced.

Songs: Ohia, "Didn't It Rain" is even prettier. The second half is mind-bendingly great. The first half is even better.

Edit: If you ever have a long drive that involves driving under the stars or clouds and own this album, you're more or less obligated to listen to it.

I've listened a few times so far. I like it even though (and in a way, because) most of it sounds quite a bit different than Weezer.
