Wii Game recommendations

bbrauch2000

One anti-recommendation -- Spyro -- which my wife and daughters loved to play on the PS2 but hated the game on the Wii

My kids didn't like Mario Olympics initially and I offered to take it back, but they liked having a true multi-player game, so we kept it by default. Once they unlocked a couple of the "less traditional/more Mario type" games -- they love it. Our TV room sounds like Monkey Island at the zoo now.

You can take them back after you have played them? I thought once they were opened that you couldn't return them?

Sorry about that -- I wasn't really clear -- by "take them back" -- I meant "trade them in to Gamestop"

FWIW -- You can take games back to exchange them for the same game, if your disc got damaged.

my kids are digging on the wii sports and wii play games right now. The wii is still new to them since they got it for christmas, so they are still happy with the basics.

my son is highly into his Tony Hawk skateboarding game, not sure which one though. It is rated E and the graphics are pretty awesome to me, who thought super nintendo was the bomb! He is also enjoying Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix, though I have no interest in that one...

we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Mario Super Galaxy and MLB Power Pros to come in the mail soon.

Power Pros is fun, but I am a little irritated with the game since I have yet to find a good way to get Braun into the game. The best I have been able to do is make Koskie into Braun. This of course makes it so Braun can not be rookie of the year. The really weird part is that you can change what the announcer says when a player is up to bat and I have found Ryan Braun amongst the names so the name is right over the PA.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.
