Brewers Christmas Gift

Paul77

Okay guys, I know it's the night before, but has anyone got any Brewers related gifts yet? I can't help but post this. My brother and his wife got me this poster. My girlfriend and my Dad got it autographed. Very cool.

My mom is a garage sale fan, always keeps an eye out for Brewers stuff, and at Christmas I get to see what she found that year.

The highlight (for me) of this year's haul was a like-new SGA seat cushion, complete with the ball/glove logo and 1980s Elan ad.

From the S.O. I also received a six pack of commemorative County Stadium buttons and a 1982 police baseball card set - you know, the ones with the lifestyle tips on the back like "stay in school" or "don't do drugs." I particularly liked the tip on the Mark Brouhard card, which was basically an advertisement to apply for Milwaukee Police Department jobs.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I got a $50 gift card that goes toward a ticket and parking, all of last years bobble heads, Brewer calender, Bob Uecker CD(very funny) and i went to the fan zone on the 26th and i bought a t-shirt that says Most Valuable Prince. I wanted the 82 brewers book but could not find it. I also got a 4 pack of tickets.

My sister and her boyfriend gave me a truly astonishing set of pictures for Christmas. From The Sports Illustrated Collection for sale and exhibition at the NY Times Store, exhibition-quality prints and certificates of authenticity for the following 11x14 framed prints:

I figure the least I owe them is a plug for Ryan (the boyfriend)'s digital imaging business in NYC - Gotham Imaging.

I got a minor league hat of the Mississippi Braves (Atlanta's AA farm team). It looks exactly like the old Milwaukee Braves hats, except it has a baby tomahawk on it as well. I could never find an old Milwaukee Braves hat that I liked, so when I saw the Mississippi Braves' version, I thought it'd be cool to have something just a touch different.

Wow -- I'd say... Much better than my silly schedule watch and handmade crap my kids got me http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

dude, that's cold...I love the handmade things my kids make for me for my b-day, father's day and x-mas. Comes from the heart, and that is the most important thing when it comes to the kids.

I disagree. My kids know they need to buy my love with cool store bought gifts. Or cash.

In all fairness, the quality is always lacking.

Fair enough. Upon further consideration and in the spirit of spreading Xmas cheer.

Toby... I will trade you one Brewers schedule watch, and one box of handmade crap for your unimportant, heartless, and void of soul prints.

Of course you will need to pay shipping both ways.

You're Welcome

Hey, sister's boyfriend's photography firm are the people responsible for making the prints for the NYT. So he like, made these for me. And framed them. Keep your grubby hands away!

Edit: Italicization for emphasis. Whoa, italicization is a real word.
