So when is Patrick on his first SportsCenter?

Seriously, colbyjack, the way you roll out articles for Perfect Game, it's just a matter of time before you're on Baseball Tonight, or conducting chats at ESPN.com. If you're not a key player for ESPN next May and June, I'd be shocked.

ESPN Names Perfect Game ESPN's Leading Authority on Amateur Baseball

Just keep that Brewerfan reference in your Perfect Game and ESPN signature. We sure are proud of the work you do now and what is yet to come.

Now I just need to patent the Link Report and modify it 29 times over...

Thanks for the kind words Jim, but there are a few people over at PG that are a lot more qualified to speak about prospects in great detail than I am, namely Allan Simpson and David Rawnsley. Rawnsley already was part of ESPN's draft coverage this past year, and the one thing I always enjoy about speaking with and listening to Rawnsley is that it is clear he is very passionate about the game, and when he talks about players he is sharing his own first-hand observations while also gathering information from the hordes of scouts and college recruiters that he is immersed with each and every day.

The two of them, as well as a lot of the people that are more behind the scenes, have created unprecedented draft coverage since the creation of PG Crosschecker, and I am honored to be a small part of that.

But that reminds me. Last summer just before the draft I was a guest on a 10-15 minute Podcast for CSTV, and I'm wondering if anyone out there has ever heard it or has any way of digging it up for me?

Just the other day I was thinking about how much work Colbyjack does for the draft, and this seems like a great place to say thanks for all of the information. I really appreciate your knowledge and your effort.

I don't post a lot but I try to read as much as I can about the draft, and just wanted to take the time to let you know how much I appreciate your work.

That's nice of you to say, and I do appreciate it, although some out there would argue that I don't add any "value" to the site http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif.

In their defense, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

CJ's only here for one reason: sex appeal. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
