I Am Legend

I think Nick Cave also wrote the screenplay for The Proposition didn't he? That sucks about Viggo. I read the book and I think he fit the role perfectly. Guy Pearce will do a good job but I think VIggo would have been perfect casting.

the scene where Neville gets trapped by the smart bad zombie guy

I actually was under the impression that it was a trap that he had set himself and forgot about.

I thought it was a pretty decent movie. Not great, but not bad. Reminded me very much of 28 Days Later, but not as good. On that subject, I really liked 28 Weeks Later, maybe even more than the first. I'm really looking forward to 28 Months Later, which is slated for next year.

Just watched this myself. I was definitely disappointed by the ending, and a bit annoyed that they spent so little time in the lab with the "test zombie" and just happened to find the cure right before their imminent deaths.

"Oh, look! She's better now! YAY!"

The movie went really quick for not being all that action filled. I was impressed with Smith. The isolation was well done.
