Nashville stadium plan in Jeopardy?

Metro Davidson County and the Nashville Sounds have apparently come to an impasse over financing of their new ballpark in downtown Nashville.

 

This could result in the Sounds being forced to shut down or move elsewhere, since Hal Greer Stadium is woefully under the standards for triple-A baseball.

 

Any thoughts?
