I too am curious to know how early is early. I have a picture of Braun holding my son in Nashville that I would love to get signed, but I can't really afford to take off work to wait in line just for the possibility of being one of the first 150 people.

150 doesn't seem like much, that's gotta go quick.

i'm going to try, i'll probably get shut out because of all the "new" people, I will never forget year one...

autographs don't come easy anymore.

but you'll get your autographs throughout the year, the people that go to this probably won't. Thousands of people are going to get shut out. I'm not going to make the trip down there.

Does anyone know how the turnout was for the Braun signing at the Home Builder's Expo today?

I got there at about quarter to ten and there was a good hundred people ahead of me. But it was extremely well organized. Better than any other Brewer event I've ever attended. Braun was also quick, but personable. Once he started signing, it only took about 30 minutes to get to him. The line was forever long though.

did he sign anything ROY?

Nope. We asked too. He said he was not allowed to.

And when we first got there, the crowd was told that everything he signed would have to be personalized, but I think once they say the line, that went out the window.

didn't think he would be able to since he is under contract. I went to the Greg Jennings signing in Oshkosh a few weeks ago, and he couldn't put #421.

I went today. I wasn't really planning to after I slept until 1PM but I figured it was worth a shot. I got there around 2:25 and was around 115th in line for session one (Hardy, Braun, Weeks, Torres). It was very well organized and kept orderly by the team employees. According to one, the first person got in line at 8:45AM. The session one line was cut off at 3:00PM. Autograph tickets were handed out around 5. Everyone had to wait in line in the concourse but the signing was held in the usual place in the Fan Zone. I'm not sure if the session two (Hart, Gallardo, Riske) tickets were all given out by 5 but if they weren't I'm sure they were taken by the people at the front of the session one line after they got their autographs. I'm pretty sure you could have gotten there around 5PM and still gotten a session two ticket. I got Hardy & Braun on 8x10s, Weeks on a bobblehead, and Torres on a mini helmet.

I just got back from the warm-up (should of been called freeze-up). Looks like I missed the cutoff by 10 minutes for the 1st session. I did stick around for the 2nd session. I got Gallardo, Riske and Hart on a Brewer logo sign that I purchased from the old Busch stadium sale.

The event was run very organized although it was cold as hell waiting in line for over 2 hours.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for my feet to unthaw. BHF and I got there at around 1:30 and were in the middle of the pack for the first signing, and surprisingly not too many people stayed for the second so we were able to get them. I got Braun on a photo (no personilization), Weeks on a mini-helmet, Gallardo on a Baseball America magazine (they look sweet), Hardy and Hart on rookie cards, and Torres + Riske on those stupid snowflake pictures they handed out. Overall, extremly well run, and I hope they use this event as a model for future autograph signings!

yeah, but I didn't see anything about it being streamed on the site like it was last year. So I wanted to know if anybody in Wisconsin (you know, you guys that actually live there?) had heard/read/seen something along that vein.
