Dayn's Perry's projected standing as of today

That's a bit of a persecution complex. The Central was terrible last year.

Besides the Brewers I'm not sure that any of these teams can say they are better than last year. Should be wide open again for a hot team to take the division.

The Reds might be better, and if all this talk about Bedard is true, they be a lot better. Just seems Bedard would kill his value when he reaches FA by going to the GAB. The Cubs have made some moves but nothing outstanding and their Big 3 is just one year older. Houston signed Kaz Matsui, woo hoo, Pirates appear that they want to be in firesale mode offering up anybody and everybody, and the Cardinals need to rebuild or something because they dont have a whole lot of talent their anymore

Bedard strikes out a ton and almost half of his outs come on ground balls. Going to GABP wouldn't effect him much.

If the Reds want to win it'll happen this year. After this year Griffey will apparently be gone and so will Dunn. Though the Reds will know their fate by Mid-Season. If their tanking it, Dunn will be gone and so will their hopes of winning this season. The Cubs havn't done anything, minus Jones which COULD potentially hurt them. Wood will help over a full season but he's only 1 RP. Marmol COULD regress after his superb season. And as pointed out they are all 1 year older. I thought Soriano would make that team devestating as far as their linup, but Soriano really fell short last year compared to his year with the Nats.

The Brewers I think will win it. Cordero was a main stay and we replaced him with Gagne. Linebrink was only with us half the season and we replaced him with Riske. Plus we added 2 other BP members to the mix possibly in Torres and Mota. We also have Braun over a full year. The youngsters will also be a year older and better.

The Astros could really blow this season. They lost their Closer in Lidge, and they were supposidly after Cordero, Linebrink, and Gagne really hard, and have nothing to show for it. Kaz could hurt them. He was horrible away from Coors Field.

They have to get to Coco to be better and I dont think the improved their pitching in front of him. Weathers, Stanton and the overrated Majewksi are one year older and more wear on their arms.Bedard would help in the rotation but his numbers would be effected by the park. Simple flyballs that went for outs in Balt will go as homeruns.

Cincy's ballpark won't affect Bedard much......but Dusty Baker might. He has yet to throw 200 innings and you know Dusty will run him into the ground.
