Brewers 2010 Lineup?

Kevbo74

of Fielder, Weeks and Hardy, i'd think between free agency or performance that only one of them would be there.

but defininitely not Sheets still pitching for the team. it's hard to see anyone more than Gallardo and Inman being in the rotation in 2010.

i like the Hall point, though. it's hard to get past the fact that he could be a superstar infielder vs. an above-average OF.

Super 2 just adds a year of arby, doesn't get the player closer to Free Agency sooner... unless I'm misunderstanding the FAQ.

No. You're right. I don't know what I was thinking, as I'm usually critical of such a mistake on others' parts. Nevertheless, Super-Two does make it expensive in the later years, especially with such gifted players as Weeks and Fielder.

And yet no love for Michael Brantley. The guy could become a truly dominant centerfielder if he puts it all together.

Brantley has been playing LF so far - am I correct on this? Also, I haven't seen him play, but how is his defense? Is he a CF candidate down the road? And is he simply in LF because Ford is in CF? Is that the same reason Cain was in RF last year - Ford is simply the superior CF? I've seen all of these guys mentioned as potential CF, and am just curious if that's true. Thanks.

Ford is the centerfielder of that crew...cain could definitely handle, but feels comfortable in the corners...brantley is behind those guys in defense..and no where near as fast...

he could probably play center, but he's behind 5 guys in the minors (tgj, moss, cain, ford, fermaint) and certainly not the defender steven chapman is...
