First Wisconsin-born Brewer

saget

For some reason I need to know who the first ever Wisconsin-born Brewer was. And not the Braves or Pilots or any nonsense like that.

I came up with the name Gene Brabender, but I'm not sure if it's right

Help!

He has to be the one. He was on the first Brewer team's opening day roster, and I know of no one who might have 'tied' with him for that privilege.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

He also played with the Brewers in 1970.

Obviously. -- Saget seemed to indicate the answer could not be a former Pilot.

I think what he meant by that is they actually had to play for the Brewers. Not that they couldn't be a Pilot or Brave they just had to play for the Brewers.
