I'll take the other side of the Super Mario Galaxy coin. It was terrible and my wife and I both hated it (truthfully).

 

The entire game is predicated upon making precise jumps/movements with your character, exactly the thing that the wiimote is terrible at doing. I can't tell you how many boards I sat around missing a jump for 20 minutes because I couldn't tell from the angle I was at which direction my character was going to jump.

 

I won't even get into the fact that when you lose all your lives you are thrown back to the intro screen and have to reload your entire profile/game and start the entire level over. Again, quite frustrating.

 

Just wanted to give the flipside, since all I read is praise for the game. Although my copy did fly off the virtual shelves on half.com in about 30 minutes so we must be in the vast minority.

 

I haven't played anything incredible on the Wii yet. After reading through this I'm going to give The Bigs a try.
