Songs that make your ears bleed

Kiss has some GREAT FREAKING tunes
Not many. They've also got hundreds of terrible ones. Cold Gin and Deuce are great. Rock N Roll All Nite is a classic anthem of course. Detroit Rock City & Calling Dr. Love maybe. That's about it for me. IMO teh suck outweighs the good by far.

I will respectfully disagree with you man... See, this is where I have a problem with people and how they judge other's musical tastes.

All the songs you listed are songs that everyone knows, you are probably the casual listener and have never heard their entire library, much less truely gave them a chance.

Doesn't matter really, it isn't like we are going to sit down together and listen to their music.

I have to disagree with one more thing, "rock and roll all nite" is the one song by them that I wouldn't mind never hearing again in my life. It is over-played, and makes me sick that that is their signature song since they have so many that are better. That was their biggest commercial hit, so that is the song most judge their work on, at least, the non-fans.

I don't take it personally when someone says that KISS sucks, or have no talent, just feel bad that those who say those things just don't get it...

I remember being so excited to get these bad boys! Agonizing which one to buy first with the allowance I had saved. Next time I go to Oshkosh I'm gonna search the attic/basement for them. Probably sandwiched between Kansas and Leo Sayer.

Was a huge KISS fan when I was young. My older brother listened to them, and being 7 years younger, thought everything he did was cool.

In the second grade, he made my face up like Peter Kriss for Halloween. Just so happens, I got drawn to stand up in front of the whole grade and lead the Pledge of Allegance dressed like Peter Kriss.

Classic memory that was just brought back to me. Hadn't thought of that in years.

Nickleback - Rockstar...oooooooooohhh who's freakin ironic and clever!!! can we raise money to put a hit on them? i'll throw in 20

ELO - abercrombie girls....worst lyrics from a song that goes nowhere, and morons completely bought into it...guh!

Right Said Fred - I'm too sexy...why does this song still get put into shows and movies from time to time? i want to cut my wrists whenever i hear it

Hah, I'm guessing you mean LFO...? And any Nickleback song is terrible, not just that one.

I got 47 seconds into the song before I had to stop it. I liked the song back in the day because....well....I really don't remember why. But the lyrics have got to be the worst lyrics EVER penned to paper. New Kids on the Block had a bunch of hits (did they really? I thought it was like 2 or 3), Chinese food makes me sick (why is that really important?), and I think it's fly when girls stop by for the summer (I used to think it was fly when a girl looked at me, let alone stopped by. Then I got married and my focus is only on my wife). That's a definite ear bleeder for lyric content alone!

I'd also like to cast a vote for anything put out by Train and its now solo frontman, Pat Monahan.

His lyrics can only be described as LFO-esque.

I found a Train album in my SO's car. I actually asked her what she was thinking... especially when I asked her to listen to the lyrics. Then she understood what I meant.

Rock and Roll Part 1.

"Rock and Roll. Rock. Rock and Roll."

Jeebus. No wonder the version without lyrics was the popular one.

I love those lyrics!
