Rockies close to re-signing Herges, Torrealba

"Looking to fortify their bullpen and catching situation, the Rockies moved close Wednesday to re-signing veteran Matt Herges and have made progress in talks with Yorvit Torrealba.

With that said we can possibly take Herges off of our list possibly.

 

"We are close, that is fair to say," said Herges' agent Danny Horwits. "But we aren't done yet. There are still other teams involved."
