BTW, both Cabrera and Garland are free agents after the 2008 season - as of today, Cabrera is a Type A player, Garland is a Type B.

 

The Elias Rankings are going to show themselves in trades more and more, teams want the moon for pre-arby guys in trades right now, don't think for one minute that the Sox didn't take this fact into account when they made this deal.
