Brewers express interest in Tad Iguchi

Iguchi has actually had a higher OPS than Loretta in all three of his seasons in the Majors, and is 4 years younger. My money is certainly on Iguchi to out produce Loretta in 2008.

My fault for some reason I read Iguchi and thought Matsui. Wrong Japanese 2B traded in the middle of the season.

I would Rather see the Brewers go after Feliz over this guy but hopefully melvin won"t just throw to much money at any of this guys.

Iguchi would probably be an okay option if he could provide steady defense at 3rd base. He has had a decent OBP, so he fits that need. My main concerns would be how well he could play 3rd base and he's hit much better at home than on the road.
