Ryan Rayburn

Dont stone me for this. I was just thinking up how to get Ryan Rayburn.

Hes still young (26), and he put up a .340 OBP, but in a VERY small sample (138 abs), and actually played some 3rd and 2nd this year.

Any chance he develops into a a good left fielder?

What would we have to give up?

Raburn is an interesting 'under-the-radar' suggestion, sheetswb. He may not be much more than a reserve OF type, though. He's not exactly a prospect anymore - 2008 will be his age 27 season. Don't have time to check his minor league splits, but he may not be much more than what we can already expect from Dillon.

Btw, why is this thread titled "Mets idea"?
