New collection pictures thread!

billyhallfan

I tried to look up the thread from before the season started, but I can't find it. Anyway, I know that I added a lot more stuff to my collection through the season, and I'm guessing everyone else did too. No one cares how big or small your collection is, we want to see a lot of them. I will start--

Here is a shot of when you first walk into my room, I have every Brewers SGA except the blue money, to the right of the bobbles are signed photos of A. J. Hawk, Brett Favre, and Joe Thomas, to the left of the bobbles is a Miller High Life metal sign, and the sports page newspaper from Sheets' 18 K game:
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/100_2643.jpghttp://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/100_2650.jpghttp://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/100_2651.jpg
To the right of the bobbles is a window sill where my signed baseballs are, I won't list them all, but the best are Russell Martin, Rollie Fingers, Bob Uecker, Matt Cain, and Marty Brennaman. Then to the right of the baseballs is a game used snappers hat of Joe Benson that he gave to me after they were eliminated in the finals, he is the guy in my avatar:
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/100_2642.jpg
Then to the right of the window is my BP worn Bill Hall signed jersey, that blank spot is where I will put the signed magazines that I have, but I need to get them framed, then there is the Fielder signed 16x20, and Robin Yount plaque:
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/100_2648.jpg
And this is all of my signed photos, except a few, there are 5x7's on one wall, and 8x10's on the other:
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/100_2646.jpg
Then to the right of those are my Robin Yount drawing, Miller Park poster, Miller Park Scorecard, Daron Sutton signed stickerhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif, Bill Hall game used signed helmet, Negro Leagues signed poster, and a 2008 GPBL calendar. I got this from a lady who played in 50-51 for Kenosha. She was a catcher and she dedicated it to me and signed it, it is really cool:http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/100_2647.jpg
Under that calendar is my Bush stadium seat:
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/100_2652.jpg
Then to the left of my bobble display is this wall. It has signed photos of Villanueva, Suppan, Bush, Gwynn, Graffanino, Yost (x2), Mench, and Wise. The jersey in the middle is a signed 2005 All Star jersey of Lee. Above the Jersey are three card plaques, two are signed cards of Hall and Hardy, and on the right is a "Thunder and Lightning" with Mathews and Spahn cards:
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/100_2644.jpg
Here is a close up of those bats, three of them are store bought bats signed by Weeks, Hart, and Hall, the two on the right were game used by Gorkys Hernandez and Joe Benson, both of them are signed also:
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e378/billyhallfan/100_2645.jpg
And here is a photo of that whole corner:

I only got 1 autograph this whole year. I didn't have the time or money this season to get hardly anything. The couple times I went early to the players parking lot, nobody signed. So my collection hasn't changed much. Here are some new things that I have added.

javon walker, ahman green, bubba franks, william henderson, and nick barnett college mini helmets. Bo Jackson football.

and of course the bill hall pink bat

oops, I should have said like one autograph. I got a few when the brewers did a signing before brewers on deck. Then got sandberg, hardy, and biggio. Thats about it. It was a really bad year for autographs for me. Although you did see my highlight of the year for me. Getting Biggios autograph made my year.

My brother was in kuwait last year and Bo did an autograph session over there. My brother waited in line for 4 hrs to get it for me. I really need to get a case for it.

I think I've posted most, if not all of these before but here they again...

These pictures do not even come close to showing everything. I still have most of the mini bobbles in the boxes yet. I will admit I've fallen way behind on the minor league bobbles. I have a few still in the box yet to be displayed though. I think I have every full sized and most of the mini SGA bobbles from Miller Park..

All in all I have 45 game used bats (somewhere near half of them are signed). I have a couple of jersey, undershirts, pants, gloves and helmets as well. Lots of framed photos and newspapers too. Tons of cards, books, magazines etc... I started making custom mcfarlanes this year too. Anyway if anyone really wanted to check out my collection you can hit up my website (linked in my sig). I might be dumping the website soon so get your looks now

That's my bobblehead collection as of today. Just got my Vuckovich in the mail Monday to complete the 82 set.

I love collecting but I'm not that hardcore that I need each alternate jersey bobblehead too. I'm completely fine with not having them. I still have a about 10 Brewers to add like the Hank Aaron, Robin Yount Powder Blue from the set last season, a few minis, etc. I'll keep adding them as I get them. As for the Packers I only collect Favre bobbles. For the Bucks I'm trying to get all the Bucks bobbles and mcfarlanes/slus.

Jason, I like those autographed college mini helmets of the Packers. I think that's a cool idea.

I'd like to see that.

Very nice stuff posted by everybody in this thread! I've got loads and loads of older stuff, but it's all in storage totes. Someday, I'll be able to break it all out. For now, all I've got on display is my CD rack.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Ok here is some of my stuff I don't have any of it on walls except my mirror and bobbleheads.

I need to get frames and organize alot of my stuff someday to actually display it.Most of it is just in piles

My first shelf is all SGA's from the Brewers and the Atlanta Braves Hank Arron.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/BobbleheadShelf1Closeup.jpg

My second shelf is Minor League Brewers Milwuakee Wave and all the '82 minis I have so far.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/BobbleheadShelfs12.jpg

My third shelf is all the bobbleheads that didn't fit on the other shelves and and a autograph bio of Gorman Thomas and a 3x7 index autograph of Randy ready.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/BobbleheadShelf3.jpg

This is my autographed Mitchell & Ness 1976 Oakland A's Rollie Fingers Jersey. I got signed at The Mallards MLB allstar game 8/3

Got this Retro Turnbow jesery a few weeks before his bobblehead game last year and then got it autographed at a siging he did a week after the bobbblehead game.

Ball&Glove pillow I picked up at the fanzone a few years back I think in '05

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/BallGlovePillow.jpg

Random baseball cards + some autogrphed cards I got at the Brewers signing last year at the Art Museum when they had that comic exibit.

There is also a Pabst beer can from the 1994 rosebowl. It was taken off the shelves a few days after it went on due to copyright infrigment.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/RandomStuffonTopofFootballCase.jpg

Got these two flags off ebay The green flag supposedly came from the Texas Rangers Stadium back when the Brewers were still in the AL from the mid '90s it is about 5ft by 7ft IIRC.

The Blue flag came in a bag with a sticker on it stating it was flown in the St. Louis Cardinals old Bush Stadium in 2004 - 2005 it is 5ft x 8ft.

I have a 20ft flag pole and a base that you drive over that I use for tailgating when I am at MP most times I use the Blue flag If you have seen that flag it was me lolz.

I painted the base blue and yellow and had someone weld it up for me nice and sturdy.

When I am tailgating at the games Everyone knows exactly were to find me and no one ever gets lost. Really helpfull on opening day. I keep them folded up in boxes sop that's why they are wrinkled.

Got this from a guy on craigslist who also sold me the huge directional sign in the next picture. We got to talking and he told me he was part of the breakdown crew for County Stadium. He had alot of signs and seats from County lying around his house.

He gave me all the parts to build a seat and he even had this #19 seatback he never got around to getting it signed though.

I did on the reunion night in August. Still need to get the seat fixed so I can put it together right now a piece is broken. He also threw in for free a used seat back from one of the blue club seats. I am going to make it into a clock someday.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/CountyStadiumDirectionalSectionSign.jpg

One of the very few games I have been to that something memerabole has happened ben was on fire this day and threw 18 strikeouts against the Braves. My friend said it would be pointless for him to drive all the way from Madison for just another game. I always make fun of him for that comment.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/BenSheets18KvsAtlantaTicket.jpg

got this at the grand opening of Menards in Beaver Dam along with two pinstripe bobbleheads. Gantner is a really nice person to talk too.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/JimGantnerMenardsSheet.jpg

These are my dad's He got the autograph framed picture from a church auction and the book I got signed for him before a football game last year at the University book store signing.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/BarryAlvarezAutoPhotoAutoBook.jpg

My dad got this through a wager on a game from afriend who went to Northwestern. They always bet on the game and this time my dad won.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/1999UWFootballTeamAutoPennant.jpg

Got this off ebay for my dad for like 2$ I somehow don't remember these cans though and the seller was from Illinois.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/1993PepsiUWBadgersScheduleCan.jpg

Another ebay find not much to say except the front Bucky's are stickers and the Lettering is painted on.

The backside has autogrpahs from most of the 1983 team. Couldn't get a good shot of it in the case though.

http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n176/Zachlaka/brewers/1983UWBadgersFootballFrontSide.jpg

Autographed football by Joe Thomas got this in May just after he got drafted #1 in the NFL at the Dicks signing at East Town
