I didn't see this on here anywhere, but I could have missed it. I'm very poor at linking tihngs, so heres the article from JSOnline:

Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder was named the winner of the 2007 Silver Slugger Award today at his position for the National League. It is an honor that has gone annually to St. Louis' Albert Pujols and represents yet another breakthrough for the all-star slugger.

The Silver Slugger Awards at each position in the two leagues are determined by a vote of major league coaches and managers on behalf of Louisville Slugger. Votes are cast for the players they felt were the best offensive performers at each position.

Selections were based on a combination of offensive statistics including batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage, as well as the coaches' and managers' general impressions of a player's overall offensive value. Managers and coaches were not allowed to vote for players on their own team.

Fielder became the youngest player (23) in major league history to sock 50 home runs in a season in 2007. He batted .288 with 119 RBI, 109 runs scored, 35 doubles, a .618 on-base percentage and .395 on-base percentage.
