Ohhh, you fellas who weren't at the game probably didn't get to see Erin's boots, which were possibly the rockingest boots on earth: sleek black, up to just below the knee, and very spiky heels. I couldn't walk five feet in something like that, and I'm the opposite of a fashionista - but even I was impressed.

Good game, too.

Whoa - a W over Indiana tonight? This Badgers squad is for real. Score update? Thanks in advance.

Frickin' D.J. White though, I'd love to have him on my team...

DJ White is fantastic. Rare combo of legit muscle & size + raw leaping ability.

I will fist fight anyone who says that Joe Krabbenhoft is a disappointment or a bust.

I don't think anyone with a clue would ever say he's a bust now or was in prior seasons, he does do so many positive things on the court. The only thing that has disappointed me has been his scoring ability, i expected him to be a better shooter. Then again, i didn't expect him when he signed at UW to be such a beast on the boards for a SF.

Both him and Flowers are about as valuable as can be for basketball players that don't score much.

And if Greg Stiemsma were to get 30 minutes a game...don't laugh, but his numbers might be something along the lines of 12 points, 15 boards, 8 blocks a game.

I dont think he would get 12 points but I would say he could get close to the other numbers. He could not finish against the Boilermakers when he had bunnies like Butch did tonigt.

This team is talented and deep, I think they can get into the tourney and win games in the second half because other teams will wear down against them.

Did anyone see the polar bear suit with a butch jersey on in the student section? I thought it was the funniest thing.

Actually, there were two student fans in polar bear outfits last night. One looked more authentic, one looked like a happy friendly bear whose fur happened to be white.

And sorry, FTJ, but I didn't bring my camera last night. The remaining games for which we have tickets are scheduled to be on ESPN2 and Big Ten - so I doubt I'll see Erin in person again this season.

Telling us about Erin's boots = Evil

Taking a picture and uploading it = Divine

I think that if you see Erin Andrews and post something to the board like you did, and not share pictures -- that should be a strikeable offense, -- nay banishment.

I love Dickie V's comment, "She's still a dazzler are you kiddin' me!" I heard somewhere that Musburger/Lavin were doing a Michigan game and for some reason were talking about some guys butt on MU. Then Musburger said something like "Well if we're gonna talk about rear ends we're gonna have to mention our own Erin Andrews!" Seems funny how old guys can get away with that type of stuff.

yes, glennron, you are correct! I've noticed that all year, when Musburger/Lavin/Andrews are working together, at one point during the game the two men make a comment about Erin Andrews that is downright inappropriate and unnecessary during a basketball broadcast. If it was 2 younger guys making the comment, we'd be reprimanded. It we said it to her face, they'd be slapped hard across the cheek. Gotta wonder if the producer/director types care about it or if they get in trouble. Heck, I wonder if Erin Andrews hears those comments in her earpiece.

I'm sure she hears them, as they usually have some banter back and forth. I'd venture a guess that she probably doesn't care. In fact, based upon the outfits she generally puts together, she probably WANTS those comments. Not that she isn't deserving of them. But you are right, younger guys would be in a lot of trouble.

About Krabbenhoft, I really thought he'd be a much better scorer than he is. It just seems like he was touted as a very skilled scorer, wasn't he Mr. Basketball in high school? Generally those guys can score. I love what he brings to the team, just wish he'd put up a few more points, or make that open 3 pointer he seems to get on a regular basis.

All in all, great win. Though going to Indiana scares me as the Hoosiers seemed to miss a good amount of open looks tonight, and I'd imagine White will touch the ball on every possession next time. If we can knock off Minnesota on Sunday (which will be no easy task, especially on the road), we should be looking at a pretty solid top ten ranking.

But the thing is it's not his role. I can almost guarantee if Bo Ryan said to him "Joe I want you to score at will" he'd be averaging double digits. He shoots over 50%, it's just it's not his role in the offense. Although I'll say he doesn't have the prettiest jumper, so I'm okay if he doesn't attempt too many 3's. I'll gladly take the rebounds/assists/good A/T ratio anyday.

Edit: BuckyTuba, I can't believe the unframed picture is still like 60 bucks! That's pretty insane.
