Howdy...

 

I just filed a top notch Whistleblowing testimonial letter to the main boss of my company on client neglect.

I got sent to West Allis Memorial Hospital on workman's comp after a severe altercation with a resident (I work in the Mental Health field). I got bit pretty hard on my left shoulder and now I got a huge bruise and several abrasions and got kicked in the jaw a few times during the altercation and punched several times in the head.

For those of you law people, should I expect a major retaliation case on me? I basically ripped the whole place where I work wide open to any major state regulators now.

I applied there after you said they were short on help. Can you tell them to throw my resume away?

Kind of off the whisteblowing portion of this, but if some dude is going off on you like that, what do you do in a situation like that? I'm assuming fighting back is frowned upon....do you just "play defense" and try and avoid the contact?

There's typically an approved restraint program in place, such as Crisis Prevention Institute, that are allowable methods of restraining a client who has become dangerous.
