10/28/2007: WS Game 4 - Red Sox (Lester) at Rockies (Cook)

Could be the last game of 2007, so I thought this warranted a thread.

Does no one on Brewerfan watch the world series? It looks like this might be the end of "rocktober" but it was fun to watch, and hopefully the rockies can get something going here.

It is a challenge to watch FOX's filtered version of the World Series.

 

I'm kind of paying attention, since after either tonight or sometime this week that'll be it until March.

The fellas on ESPN radio just reported that A-Rod is opting out of his contract with the Yankees. This makes me think of two things:

 

1. I thought there was a kibosh on making big baseball announcements during the World Series.

2. That said, I'm 100% not surprised that some NYY news would get out during this WS, in order to steal Boston's thunder. (Except I thought it would be an announcement of the new Yankee manager.)
