Am I crazy, or was Carrie Underwood's performance of the national anthem one of the best at a WS?

 

I'm really looking forward to watching Manny try to handle LF & Ortiz try to handle 1B.

In the spirit of moving on & letting go of 2007, and in an effort to remind myself how tough times once were, time for an avatar change.

 

I feel like the fielding of Ramirez in LF is a ticking time bomb. Please, please let there be a ridiculous Manny-being-Manny play out there in LF. I want that so badly.

Speaking as a non-member of the Red Sox Nation, I say, "ah, crap."

 

 

But yeah, TLB, given how national anthem performances seem to be nowadays for major sporting events, that was pretty good.
