After reading about Church and Company i decided to study up on Wash some and it looks as if Church Pena or Langerhan might be available.. If i had my choice i would take Church as i think he can be a Byrnes/ Oneill type and thats what we need in LF.. Could see him and Dillion splitting time in LF for a year or two till LaPorta is ready..

From what i have read it seems they are looking for a leadoff hitter, middle of the lineup bat along with some SP...

They also have a few RPs who might be available also such as Cordero, Rauch, Wagner and Patterson..

 

Was thinking what would it take to get

Church and Cordero Maybe something like Z Jackson, M Gamel, T Gywnn and Iribarrin

or

Church and Wagner Maybe something like Z Jackson, T Gywnn and C Crabbe

There's also a "Washington Nationals - Good Matchup" thread on page 2.

 

And it's going to take a lot more than the names mentioned to get Chad Cordero alone, much less having Church added.
