South Park returns!

Do you play a lot of GH?

I will never buy it - I'd play it waaaaay too much. My neighbor had it though, and I actually got pretty damn good at it, if I don't say so myself. I got a perfect score on GH2 on Jessica on the Expert.

So I can relate.

Ya, I see. That probably explains the difference in our view of the ending. I own GHII but I really don't play it all that much. Never enough to get good at the expert level. It is fun, but didn't have the addictive quality for me. I'd rather play my real guitar.

That was overkill I thought. I liked when he tried introducing real guitar playing to the boys and when he came out in his underwear to play GH at night.

When Randy played the guitar, and it was good (heck, anything better than what I was expecting), I laughed. When the kids essentially rolled their eyes and told him it was lame, I laughed even more. On the whole, a very average episode, imho. Too cliche - it's so easy to 'generate' the plot twists when you craft an episode about a 'rock & roll star.' I'll admit that Heroin Hero was a nice twist, though - and a very cool play on words, too.

I see. It not funny to me because they are semi-making fun of me. Jerks.

Naw - I do play real guitar, and I haven't played GH in a good 6 months. I'm not totally...like that.

I didn't mean anything personal by it. It just would be more funny for a person like me who's played the game and never got that into it than it would for the person who sort of takes the place of Stan and Kyle. Hard to laugh at something that is targeting you. That really only happens at a good comedy club.

Temke I think that is why I laughed so hard and just started laughing again. I have friends who have spent days and days playing the game and are really good at it, but invested way more time than I ever would. That is what made me laugh at the end. Thinking of them.

Also, I agree, Logan. That accoustic part was great.

I thought somebody would have bumped this thread already. New South Park this week. I give it a big meh. Not very good. From the start I was waiting for Cartman to threaten to give somebody AIDS if the messed with him.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

I loved that they dressed up Cartman like Tom Hanks' character in Philadelphia, but never said or did anything with it.

Bravo Matt and Trey for calling out Jimmy Buffet; I just do not get the appeal there.

I am HIV positive I liked this episode.

I liked when Butters told Catman how amazed he was about how to get into Kyles room and Cartamn tells him how he has done it many times before.

Jimmy Buffet was great as well. Over all the episode was good not the best they have but not the worse either.

SP still does satire better than anyone.

Much better than last week even if they only had one line out of the whole episode. "We prefer to wait until you kids are older to talk to you about things like condoms and ritual human sacrafice."

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.
