Random thoughts that are pointless and too dumb to say anywhere else thread: 2007

I met this lady who recently watched Star Wars for the first time, starting with Episode 1. She said that the movies went down after 1 and that 5 was the worst. I found it so facsinating. My boyfriend and I have talked about what order we would show the movies to our kids (the bf is disturbingly obsessed, I'm just a fan) so it was interesting talking with someone who didn't have any prior knowledge of the movies and watched it 1-6. I now wonder though if the order would matter anyway since I wouldn't be suprised if our children started watching and hearing about the films from birth.

And if the bf is reading this: GIVE ME A BABY!!11!1!

I'm joking of course.

I know you're "joking, of course." But if there is a baby, I very much hope you will print out this thread and put it in his/her baby book. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I am sick, at home, and watching the Bucks play the Timberwolves. This is the first full basketball game I've watched in around three years (at any level), and it's terrible. Two terrible teams playing a terrible game in a terrible sport. I am going to watch til the end not because I like it, but because I feel compelled to mark the occasion of the very last time I ever watch an NBA game.

It turns out that I am a moron.

The other day, I get into my min-van, shut the driver's door and I hear a big crash. The whole back tailgate windshield erupted.

I call my insurance company, and they promptly send out a dude to fix the van, however he comes with non-privacy glass (as per my moronic instructions), I didn't realize that my family rolls privacy-glass style -- so the dude probably feeling empathetic to my idiocy, tells me he will be back in a couple of days, with the right glass, but hooks me up with some body-shop plastic wrap in the meantime.

Self-assured that my daily dumbassery was behind me for the day I decided to get into my pimped out ride and head to the city to do some business. While my son and I were enjoying the cool winter breeze, I decided to get the oil changed.

So I get the van lubed, and get my car wash token and proceed to get the van pimped out. I chose the mega-wash because that's how I roll.

As the doors to the carwash closed, and the big brush started to engage -- It occurred to my son to ask me "I bet that plastic window doesn't hold up to that brush"
