well, I see this will be the shortest IGT of the season. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm still watching the game. Might even post in here, too.

What would make you guys feel worse: Winning the next two as the Cubs drop the next two, allowing the Brewers to finish one game back; or losing the next two games and finishing .500?

I can't really decide.

Losing the next two. At this point, I assume the Cubs are throwing out scrub starting lineups (and we may be too...a Nix/Gwynn/Gross starting OF, anyone? Stocker starting?) so the final standings are kinda meaningless.

Really I guess I just don't care either way.

You know, I understand the black graphics above, because I am also experiencing the pain and frustration...but the Brewers do have a starter tonight whose last name is Bush, not Over.

I'm going to do my best to enjoy the last two games for what they are: two more chances to see the Brewers in action before a long off-season.

It will be interesting to see the fan dynamic these last two dates. I'm not sure if that'll be good or bad.

The Brewers currently sport a .667 winning percentage when we attend games (14-7). This percentage has been unusually consistent since mid-May, and contributes to my hope for today (and/or tomorrow).

I'll be the one in the terrace box family section trying to keep a stiff upper lip.

It is too bad we can't enter X amount of coins to continue, lol.

I have to work today, so I won't be able to watch. The season would feel like an even bigger failure if we don't even win 82 games, so I do hope we get one today or tomorrow.

Seeing the fan reaction is, to me, the biggest reason to watch the game, but honestly, I won't see any of it other than what I catch in breaks in the Badger game. I'm just hopeful that the mood is not an ugly one.

Hope the Crew can get to 82 and beyond, but only if it doesn't mean that somehow both the Mets and Phils get in. Just hoping that, win or lose, they play good baseball these last two games and learn something from the team with the second best record in the National League. SD came in and just played baseball without too much emotional baggage tugging them down. Something for the young guys to file away for next season.

Looks like Bush is pitching well this afternoon, which is good to see. Unfortunately, I'm forced to follow this one on GameDay, since I'm stuck with Philly/Washington on FOX here. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
