Buy 2 get on get one free videogames

Just a heads up for those of you who have a backlog of games you want to buy. Toys R Us has this evvery year about this time. Doesn't include all games though. Online, not sure if it is in store.

 

EDIT: Looks like they had one of every game since all the games I looked at were not available online.

From what I saw yes. Of course they are conveniently out of most of the good games.

Kind of bummed, since I usually take advantage of this deal.

 

There are a number of games that I still want....but most of them haven't come out yet (Rock Band, Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros. Brawl, Fire Emblem Wii, Rachet & Clank, Uncharted).

Yeah they do this every year and I usually buy games when they come out so I don't have 3 games I want. This year I wanted to get Zelda, Metroid and Wii Play, but 2 were out and the other was not even on the list. They also have boardgame sales, buy 2 get one or buy one get 1 half off, around this time of year. Good for early Christmas shoppers. Lego sales most years also.

This isn't true. If you go into the store, all games (including DS and PSP, but not PC games) are 3 for 2. I just bought Metroid Prime 3, Carnival Games, and Sonic & The Secret Rings for Wii today. My wife really wanted the Carnival game and the only game (besides Metroid Prime 3) I really wanted that I didn't have was Sonic, so I finally scooped it up. Good deal.

Dang, and I think it ends today. I don't live close enough to any Toys R Us anyway.
