Bob Uecker to be inducted into the 2008 WWE Hall Of Fame!

The WWE has plans to induct Bob Uecker in their celebrity wing of their Hall Of Fame in 2008. I still laugh at his interview with the legendary Andre The Giant before Wrestlemania 3. Uecker was a guest ring announcer in Wrestlemanias 3 and 4. Congrats to Bob Uecker!

One of my favorite Uecker lines is from Wrestlemania IV when he joins the broadcast booth for a 20 man battle royal. At the sight of all 20 guys fighting at once, Gorilla Monsoon says to Uecker, "You'll never see anything like this in baseball." To which Uecker replies, "This looks like the final day of cuts in spring training!" The line causes Jesse Ventura, who's doing color, to break character and laugh.
