Strip Clubs and their effect on Batting Average

ryne100
Let me apologize in advance to Julio Lugo. Hopefully the following few paragraphs don't cause too much trouble, but the data seems to indicate that he may have a problem avoiding temptation. Without revealing too much about my own private life, I had some "research" on the number of gentleman's clubs per city. In cities where the club per capita is higher than average, Lugo is hitting 194 points below his season average? As of 5/16 that was 0-19 in 2007.

Maybe it isn't the Coors effect that makes Tulowitzki's numbers bad on the road? The only Brewer to have a high SCI (Strip Club Index) is Bill Hall, but this study is from earlier in the year, which is surprising given the teams road woes.

now if we stretched the statistics out for four years or so and not just at-bats up to mid-May, then maybe we'd have something. But funny, either way.

Maybe if Tampa actually spent money on free agents, their GM would have to use a Gentlemen's Club Index as a factor in signing someone.

and I thank you for creating a thread that got the site blocked at work.

Can't wait for this topic to get pushed to page two. Of course, I didn't help matters by posting in it.
