You guys should really look at the game thread at northsidebaseball. There's been three times already everyone has been in outrage over a call. On another note, Philadelphia is gaining more ground in the east, and perhaps more importantly, the wild card, which could affect(sp) the team the Brewers face in the first round if they make the playoffs. I'm going to be honest I'm sort of hoping for a Padre's wild card and not a Phillies wild card, but obviously I'm getting ahead of myself.

They have been close actually. I think Dunn was safe, but Soriano got called out on a really bad swinging K call. Also, the second baseman for the reds CLEARLY didnt touch 2nd base and the ump called a cub out at second. They are legit gripes by the cubs fans.

WOW! I was not looking up at the time but you would have thought at the way Len Casper called the Deep fly ball by Aram that it was going to be the longest homerun in Wriggly... Come on reds you got this!

From what I've heard of Kasper, he's got a Darron Sutton type call to him. Just for the Cubs, which makes it more annoying.

5-4 reds as hopper scores on a blooper off the glove of Right Fielder Jacque Jones.. Interesting Hopper did not try to slide but i think that helped him get in?

Guess the Reds are playing the rest of the cubs game under protest because of the double switch that the cubs did? Still kind of lost but other more usefull poster's can help! Apparently they think that Lou did not go directly to the ump to inform him of the double switch.

Good to see that Soriano just ran into an out at third. Not very smart. Still a lot of time left though in this game, lets hope the Reds bullpen can pitch better than Arroyo pitch.

Not that they matter much (except to my inlaws) but the Cards are mounting a comeback after spotting Philly 11 runs. It is 12-9. Hopefully they get this out of their system so that by the time we play them next week they will roll over like they did to the scrubs this past weekend.

I am really worried about that series versus the Cards next week. I'm afraid they are going to really rise to the occasion to play spoilers when they play the Brewers.

Considering they didn't rise to the occasion at home against their biggest rivals, not sure why we should think they will against the Brewers at Miller Park. Every game/series makes me nervous though, and nothing this Brewer team does surprises me.

As sick and twisted as this is, I want the bases to be loaded for Ramirez this inning (8th) with two outs and then have him make the 3rd out. Then, the Reds don't have to face the toughest hitters in the 9th. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
